Recruiting and Cultivating Talent for the Data Centers of Today and Tomorrow – CAPRE Workshop

Thursday 26th October 2017, Maritime Parc, New Jersey

According to training firm DCPro the average datacenter engineer is a 55 year-old male. And the Brookings Institute has predicted that by 2025, 75% of the US workforce will consist of Millennials, a generation born between the early 1980s and around 2000. So where are we going to find new datacenter talent? And attract more women into the industry. And more importantly how can make sure that they fit our organisation given that what is says on your resume is only 25% of the picture?

Proposed Discussion Points:
*Strategies for replenishing an aging data center workforce
*Preparing the workforce of tomorrow for the data center industry’s needs
*Strategies for cultivating and investing in today’s current workforce

Hear from:
Peter Hannaford, Chairman, Datacenter People
